While the Queen is celebrating 70 years on the throne this weekend another British icon is also marking a big occasion. That's right, Percy Pig is 30.

And to celebrate the big day - which is actually on July 23 - M&S has gifted him his own tourist attraction. That’s right, Percy Pig now has his very own pink plaque in the heart of central London at the M&S Paddington Basin Store, so fans will be able to drop by and visit the home of Percy Pigwhenever they like.

As part of Percy’s 30th celebrations, he has a special list of #30before30 things he wants to do before his official birthday rolls around. Becoming a tourist attraction was one of them, so unveiling this plaque helps Percy tick off yet another item from his wish list, and he still has a whole summer of other adventures ahead of him with fun filled moments he’ll be sharing with fans.

Fans are urged to stayed tuned to his Instagram page to find out more - @official_percypig. Once his wish list of things is complete, his celebrations will finish with a bang at Percy’s 30th Birthday Party.

So far 800,000 M&S Sparks customers have said they want to come along - the most entries the shop has ever has for an event. Currently entries to the event have closed, but stay tuned on the M&S social channels for the chance to win a last-minute ticket to the celebration of summer.
